The federal government funding that provided free breakfast and lunch to all students during the COVID-19 pandemic expired on the last day of the 2021-22 school year.
This means that school meals will no longer automatically be free for every student.
Carthage ISD students will need to complete an application form with their registration paperwork to determine whether they will qualify for free or reduced meals for this school year.

You need to have a physical on file before picking up athletic clothes. If you have not already turned your physical into Coach Lancaster, you may turn it in on pick-up day.
**If you cannot make your assigned day, you will receive your athletic clothes on the first day of school.

8th grade on Monday, August 8th, 1:00-4:30.
7th grade on Tuesday, August 9th, 8:00-12:00.
Students must have physical on file before picking up equipment. If you have not already turned your physical into Coach Bishop, you may turn it in at equipment pickup.
If you cannot make your assigned day, you will receive your equipment on the first day of school.

New to District students' enrollment will be on Monday, August 1, 9:00-3:00 for 7th-grade students, and on Tuesday, August 2, 9:00-3:00 for eighth-grade students.
Students who are new to the District must register IN PERSON. A legal guardian must bring the following CISD required documentation.
Please, allow at least one hour for completion.
-Parent/Legal Guardian with a current State-issued picture ID (i.e. driver's license)
*If the legal guardian is other than the parent, the legal guardian must also bring an official court decree.
*If the guardian is someone other than the parent/legal guardian, he/she must also bring notarized power of attorney.
-Proof of residence (as detailed on the District form, available in the office)
-Students current health/immunization records
-Students Social Security card
-Students Birth Certificate
-Students 2021-2022 final report card w/school's complete address, phone number
-Students latest standardized test scores
-Students current IEP, if receiving Special Education or 504 services

Awards Assembly will be on Wednesday, May 25 at 9:30 am, in the Junior High Auditorium. Parents attending our Awards Ceremony need to enter the Auditorium through the front by the flag pole. Doors will open at 9:15 am.

CJHS Awards Assembly will be on Wednesday, May 25, at 9:30 a.m., in the Junior High auditorium. Invitations will be mailed out this week to parents whose students will be presented an award.
