Itās National School Counselor Week and we are definitely blessed with the BEST! These women truly make a difference in our staff, students, and families. THANK YOU, Jenny Ross and Marcie Rhiddlehoover for all you do!

Carthage ISD will operate on a two-hour delayed start on Thursday, Jan. 29, out of an abundance of caution due to weather-related conditions. Carthage ISD crews have been assessing road conditions throughout the afternoon and evening and will continue monitoring conditions overnight and early Thursday.
Bus routes will run two hours later than normal. For example, if a studentās bus typically arrives at 6:20 a.m., it should arrive at 8:20 a.m. Thursday. Campuses will begin two hours later than the regular start time.
Carthage ISD recognizes that some families may still be experiencing weather-related impacts. Students are expected to attend school if conditions allow. Families who are unable to travel safely should contact their studentās campus front office as soon as possible. The campus team will work with families on reasonable accommodations based on individual circumstances.
If conditions worsen and a change is needed, Carthage ISD will communicate an updated decision no later than 7:30 a.m. Thursday. We look forward to seeing our students back at school tomorrow
