To all Incoming 7th and 8th grade boys athletes;
Start early to get in shape for the 2024-25 seasons by working out at the CJHS!
Summer workouts will begin on June 3, 2024, every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 9-10:30 a.m. One of the coaches will be down in the field house to guide you in weight lifting and workouts. Make sure you have someone pick you up at the field house at Carthage Junior High after workouts. There will be NO Workouts the week of July 4th.

Due to widespread flooded roadways throughout the district, power outages, and todayās forecast for more severe weather, Carthage ISD campuses will be closed on Wednesday, April 10. Please stay safe, Bulldogs!
3:50 PM UPDATE: We have begun dismissal and are loading buses. Some bus routes may be delayed in areas where flooding is present. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to get all of our Bulldogs home safely this afternoon.
We are currently holding school buses on campuses due to the inclement weather. We will continue to communicate with you regarding dismissal and transportation as necessary.
We are holding car riders, as well, due to the heavy rain and lightning for the safety of our students and staff. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
